Description of FLE Course
Courses intended for non-French speakers who can already use the Latin alphabet.They focus on listening comprehension and communication in everyday situations.
Courses are available both during the day and in the evening
Modules consist of 2 classes per week: from September to the end of January and/or from February to the end of June. We also offer several intensive courses, 4 times a week during the day, throughout the school year.

Levels
- Levels A and B are intended for people with little to no knowledge of the French language
- Elementary levels (A1 and A2) are for people with some knowledge of the language.
- Intermediate levels (1 – B1.2) are for people who already have a basic understanding of the language and wish to improve.
- Advanced levels (3 – B1.4)
- Conversation workshop (starting from level B.1.3)
Remedial sessions are available for students. Do not hesitate to ask at the secretariat for more information.
Possibility to follow 3 or 4 levels in a single school year – UNIQUE IN BRUSSELS

Practical information
Registration
Registrations take place from Monday to Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM WITHOUT an appointment at the school secretariat: Avenue Kersbeek 306 – 1180 Uccle
Admission conditions
Minimum age: 16 years (or 15 years if in the 3rd year of secondary school)
ADMISSION TEST
To ensure placement at the correct level, we organize written and oral admission tests.
If you already have a certificate of achievement obtained in a language course from a school in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, please bring it with you at the time of your registration.
Documents Required for Registration
- Identity card or passport (and visa if required).
- If you are registered with CPAS/VDAB, please bring a certificate proving your social integration income FOR THE MONTH OF
- If you are enrolling in an Actiris course: you must bring your Actiris language check.
- If you are between 16 and 18 years old: proof of your regular attendance at a full-time secondary school.
Payment methods:
- Bancontact (Belgian bank card) or cash (no VISA/MASTERCARD or other credit card or foreign bank cards Apple Pay or Google Pay).
- The total training fees must be paid in full on the day of registration.
Please note: Registration can not be processed if ALL the required documents are not provided (identity documents, CPAS certificate dated for the month the course begins, payment, etc.).
The UECPA cannot be held responsible if places are no longer available in your level at the time of registration.
In the case of withdrawal, only the legal registration fee (DI) is refundable up to the 1/10th of the course unit. Administrative registration fees (DIC) are not refundable.
Basic rates
- Complete beginner (levels A and B), A1 and/or A2:
EU nationals: €90 per school year.
If you take multiples courses within the same school year, the TOTAL cost remains €90!
Non-EU nationals: €180 - From Level B1.1
EU nationals: €150 for one course module – €200 for 2 course modules (full school year).
Non-EU nationals: €240 for one course module – €380 for 2 course modules (full school year). - Conversation workshop (starting from level B.1.2):
EU nationals: €90
Non-EU nationals: €120
If the student is already enrolled in another French course at our institution: €55.
Discounts or exemptions
- Reduced fee of €90 applies in the following cases:
- Registered with CPAS: certificate dated from the month the course begins for individuals receiving social integration income.
- Registered with VDAB: certificate dated from the month the course begins
- Job seekers (Actiris, Forem) receiving full-or part-time unemployment benefits or participating in a professional integration internship: Actiris registration number required.
- Enrollement in courses up to a MAXIMUM level of A2
- Minors (under 18): proof of enrollment in a full-time secondary school.
- Recognized disabilities by PHARE or AVIQ: A certificate issued by the competent public administration, or a judicial decision
